The new Spanish PM has appointed equal numbers of men and women to his cabinet.
Will he fulfill his promise of making equality between the sexes 'an emblematic task' ?
Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero has also promised to introduce new legislation on domestic violence, legalise gay 'marriage' ceremonies and allow women equal rights to succeed to the Spanish throne.
