 Annie Whitehead began her musical career with the legendary Ivy Benson All Girls' Band - which began life in 1939. At sixteen Annie toured Europe under the watchful eye of band leader Ivy.
Now Annie's one of the country's great trombonists and has played with some of the best musicians including Elvis Costello, Joan Armatrading, Chris Rea and Paul Weller to name but a few.
She joins Jenni to talk about her career and plays live in the studio.
