This evening, England and Scotland meet in a women's football international match.
In the UK, women's football is still an amateur sport and enthusiasts could only envy the women's professional league in the United States, until October, when the US league folded due to lack of sponsorship.
One of the stars of the England squad, Kelly Smith, has been playing professional football in the States for three years.
Kelly talks to Martha about how the collapse of the league has affected her, and about prospects for the game in this country.
