The NHS Cervical Cancer Screening service touches the life of every women in the country between 20 and 64 as all are invited to a smear test every three or five years.
The Director of the NHS Service Cancer Screening Programmes, Julietta Patnick, and Dr Angela Raffle, Consultant in Public Health Medicine in Bristol join Jenni to tell her about important changes being announced today in the way these tests are carried out.
