For years Helen Massey-Roach was a chronic alcoholic. Her daughter Katie was taken into care five times while her son was born with foetal alcohol syndrome, which left him with learning difficulties.
Thirteen years ago Helen finally gave up drink, went to university and has now set up a centre to help other people who are fighting to become sober.
As the number of children being brought up by alcoholics is on the rise, Helen and Katie talk to Jenni about the long term affects of being raised by a parent with a drink problem.
