In the government's response to the Climbie Report, it has pledged to introduce national minimum standards for private fostering. Angharad Law meets Theresa Cox who was privately fostered as a young child to talk about her experiences.
Jenni talks to author of Cherish, Yinka Sunmonu, whose book about a Nigerian child brought up by a white British family is being endorsed by BAAF. They are joined by Terry Philpot whose report A Very Private Practice: An Investigation into Private Fostering, was published in 2001 and has inluenced the government's approach to private fostering.
