Birmingham Women in the House Wednesday 2 July 2003
On 3rd July, the Edgbaston constituency will celebrate 50 years of continuous women MPs.

We travel to Birmingham to hear just why they hold their MPs so close to their heart and what it is about Edgbaston that has made it possible for women politicians to get to power and stay in power.
Judi Herman speaks to the present Edgbaston MP, Gisela Stuart and to the Baroness Gillian Knight of Lords, to learn more about this constituency.
