Last week we debated whether war is inevitable because men and boys are hard-wired to be aggressive and fight each other.
Professor Joanna Burke of Birkbeck College was opposing that notion at a public debate. She believes that while men are seen as the agitators, women have demonstrated just as much war lust when in positions of power.
Dr Felicity de Zulueta of the Institute of Psychiatry believes male aggression is firmly rooted in how boys are brought up.
