An exhibition is about to get underway in Birkenhead dedicated to a young woman called T.J - and organised by her mother, who wants to be known simply as 'Yvonne'.
T.J was just 27 when she died of a heroin overdose last year, despite months of struggling to come off the drug. Throughout her life she wrote down her thoughts in the form of poems - and her mother has collected them together, along with some of her daughter's art work.
Judy Merry went to meet Yvonne at her home on the Wirral. The exhibition is at Birkenhead Central Library, Borough Road, Birkenhead, CH41 2XB, Tel: 0151 652-3521 and opens to the public on Monday 3 February and runs until 28 February 2003
