Homelessness & Domestic Violence People working in the field of domestic violence have known for a long time that a significant proportion of homeless women and children are escaping from a violent relationship.
The Home Office have now quantified this and put it officially as 16% of the homeless population. The government, in response, has announced today 9 million pounds of funding to help tackle the problem.
The Minister for Social Exclusion & Equality Barbara Roche and Woman's Aid representative Nicola Harwin join Jenni to discuss the Government's new initiative.
