 What do Tamzin Outhwaite, Ulrika Jonsson, Amanda Holden and Hermione Norris all have in common? The answer is they are all blonde and they all appeared on a recent cover of Vogue.
Sir Roy Strong, who contributed to Vogue in the 60s and 70s, has dubbed this type of blonde, the 'trash-ocracy'.
So why is it a quarter of women choose to go lighter? Jenni talks to 'bottle' blonde, comedian and actor, Jenny Eclair and to Lisa Shepherd, a colourist who specialises in blondes.
