When you think of fell running you might imagine lycra clad twenty something's or sweaty young men with bodies like whippets pounding over the hilltops to prove their machismo. Not so.
Wendy Dodds, a Consultant Rheumatologist from Lancaster has just celebrated her fiftieth birthday by running fifty Lake District peaks in one day.
