Carol Ann Duffy Thursday 12 September 2002
Carol Ann Duffy achieved her superstar status when she published a collection of poems called The World's Wife.

Her name was in the frame when the job of Poet Laureate came up three years ago and one of her books, Mean Time is already an A level text. Her latest collection, Feminine Gospels introduces another group of extraordinary women, the thin one who lives inside a fat one, the schoolgirls who giggled their school into oblivion and the woman who shopped.
Carol Ann Duffy joins Jenni to talk about her new work.
Carol Ann Duffy, Feminine Gospels published by Picador, ISBN: 0 330 48643 8
