The battle for sales of women's glossies is ferocious. For the past thirty years, Cosmopolitan has held its own as the best selling women's monthly magazine, fighting off competition to retain its crown.
But now its been knocked off its perch by a cheeky young upstart less than two years after its launch. Glamour magazine is £1 cheaper than Cosmopolitan and fits in your handbag.
So what's it like behind the scenes at the new top dog magazine? Is it all as glamorous as we might imagine? Philippa Budgen finds out.
