Writer and broadcaster Penny Junor is the daughter of legendary editor of the Sunday Express, Sir John Junor.
Her biographer of her father has just been published and is a far cry from a sentimental tribute from a doting daughter. Rather, it's a portrayal of a man who was, in her own words, a womaniser, a misogynist, and a hypocrite.
In researching his life Penny Junor discovered her father's unpublished novel, clearly based on his own life. She tells Jenni how this gave her a clearer picture of his philandering. Penny Junor, Home Truths, published by HarperCollins, ISBN 0071022135
