19 year old Caroline Stuttle was murdered earlier this year whilst backpacking in Australia. She was thrown off a bridge and, as yet, no-one has been arrested for the crime.
This tragedy may now prompt parents everywhere to reconsider the benefits of a gap year for their children.
Caroline's father, Alan, is an artist. He now plans to re-visit and paint the places his daughter loved so much. He talks to Jenni about "a wonderful daughter" and why parents should still let their children become 'gappers'.
