Raised by the State Friday 10 May 2002
David Akinsanya was put into care at ten days old. By the age of three he was labelled as impossible to foster.

For the rest of his childhood he was in and out of care homes and correctional schools. Now as a successful television journalist he has made a very personal film about his childhood.
Martha talks to David, and his social worker from the time, about how they feel the current care system could be improved.
Raised by the State, BBC2 12th May at 8pm
