Renee Fleming's voice has been described as "juicy" and "sumptuous." It's no wonder then that the American soprano has had a dessert named after her - a concoction of amaretto cookies, chocolate, hazelnuts and clementines.
She has just finished a recital tour with pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and on 3 February the South Bank Show will broadcast a film about her.
Martha talks to her about her outstanding career. Renee Fleming, Night Songs, Decca 467 697-2
