Nerina Pallot , the singer who's just released her debut album Dear Frustrated Superstar has been variously likened in the music press to greats such as Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morisette, Tori Amos and even Kate Bush.
She says she doesn't care about fitting to a format or being cool and says her songs are about 'birth, death, boys gone wrong, Jesus figures together with more regular musings on love, life, heartache and fear'.
She performs live in the studio.
