Out of Silence Tuesday 14 August 2001
When Sally Brown was working at the National Trust's Belton House in Lincolnshire, she discovered some old written manuscripts in the library.

They turned out to be from three songbooks, handwritten by three women who lived there in the 17th and 18th centuries.
Sally Brown explains more about the women and we hear some of the music they collected and wrote.
CD:Out of Silence (National Trust Education).
