 The traditions behind Christmas greenery
It’s been an exceptional year for mistletoe with bumper crops now being harvested. It’s a plant that made its first appearance in pagan celebrations many centuries before it became an invitation to a bit of seasonal kissing in the 17th century. To talk about the traditions behind mistletoe and tips on how to grow it Jenni is joined by Roy Vickery, author of A Dictionary of Plant-Lore, and gardener Anne Beswick.
