From collecting seeds to long-term maintenance
Growing trees from seeds you have gathered yourself is not only a cheap way of increasing the tree population, but also encourages species that are suited to your local area. That’s according to a new book about growing and caring for trees, published to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Tree Council’s Seed Gathering Season. Margaret Lipscombe, co-author of the book, joins Jenni to share some tips.
‘Trees and How to Grow Them’, by Margaret Lipscombe and Jon Stokes, is published by Think Books, ISBN: 978-1-84525-060-7 The Tree Council Disclaimer
