What will the Strategy mean for patients and cancer services?
At the beginning of this month the government launched their Cancer Reform Strategy which set a clear direction for cancer services for the next five years. By 2012 it should mean our cancer services are among the best in the world. During October, Woman's Hour looked at all aspects of breast cancer – a disease which affects one in nine women at some point in their life. From symptoms and diagnosis to treatment and the emotional impact of living with it, there was a huge response from Woman’s Hour listeners. Jenni is joined by three listeners, Kate Jones, Philip Lawrence and Ann Fingret who will put some of the questions raised during Woman's Hour's month of coverage to the cancer tsar, Professor Mike Richards.
