The last thing you need at school is to be different in any way. So, imagine a young girl who suddenly loses all her hair. What can that have felt like?

At six years of age Rosalin Bujnakova-Richards lost all her hair due to nervous alopecia after being knocked over by a lorry. She had to wear NHS issue wigs which were clearly made for older Caucasian women and it was this that inspired Rosalin to make her own hairpieces.

From our Manchester studio she tells Paul Heiney all about it.

Crown and Glory Fashion Show hosted by Turning Heads Hair and Visual Specialists. Zion Theatre, Hulme, Manchester 28 th October, 7.30pm
