Mark Powell is an motorcycle addict and spends a lot of his time travelling across Europe, particularly Eastern Europe.
His life is totally centred on the joys of hitting the open road alone, sleeping under the stars and experiencing the freedom that such a lifestyle brings.
Mark is a part-time lecturer in architecture and tour guide who gave up full-time work in the early 1990s in order to fulfil his relentless desire to jump on his motorcycle.
He has his bikes stored on the farms of fellow bikers in Italy, France and Germany and when he gets the urge he jumps on a flight and picks up a bike (at one point he had 1 in France, 1 in Germany and 3 in Italy).
