Frank was brought up by his mother and for most of his 57 years has had only the haziest notion of who his father was.

He knew that he was called Richard Craig-Hallam and he presided over the Japanese war crimes tribunal in the Far East.
 
Following his mother's death in 1991 Frank began to research his father's history in earnest. What he's now uncovered is one man's rich history plus a huge new family.
