"McCartney at his most wistful. It's an evocative and yet strangely compelling and haunting song. The title can be interpreted in two almost opposite ways - Let It Be in the sense of leave it alone, or Let It Be in terms of let it happen. The Beatles swansong and justifiably another classic."
