Dream
is designed to encourage and equip inner-city young people to fulfil
their potential and to realise their hidden gifts and talents in
a Christian environment.
It's entirely voluntary.
Peter first got involved with youth work two and a half years ago
when he started visiting St. Saviours Church in the Meadows.

Dream
unfolded when some young people from the church's Youth Club expressed
an interest in drumming.
Peter has a background in Performance Arts and so he started teaching
drumming and rapping on a Saturday morning.
Dream
has several elements:
- Dream Catchers... a project where Peter goes into primary schools
and does visual and performing arts with the pupils.
- Deep Dream... an event that happens every other Saturday at St.
Saviours Church. Youngsters come and try drumming, rapping and hold
talent competitions in a cafe/club environment.
In
the future Peter would like to set up a Dream Theatre in The Meadows
as well as a Dream School where children can learn more creative,
non-curricular skills.
Peter's objective is for youngsters to focus on the positive aspects
of life.
