Life is full of ups and downs. So the BBC has created Headroom, a campaign to encourage you to look after your mental wellbeing.

Headroom will help you cope with the everyday stresses and strains of life and provide a safe place to start finding answers to more complex problems.

But what makes you lose it? What gets you angry? We asked some of BBC Radio Nottingham's presenters.

Frances Finn - Tepid Coffee

Why can't a cappuccino that costs £2.35 be served at a temperature warmer than an airing cupboard? What's difficult about heating up milk? If I want a warm drink I'll have tap water! And it's free!

Alan Clifford - Animal Cruelty

Animal cruelty and in particular the way people dismiss the cruelty involved in animal farming with the notion that it has to be that way. No it doesn't.

David Lloyd - Time Management

I get inordinately angry when people fail to allow sufficient time to get to where they need to be. They appear blissfully unaware that their lack of sensible foresight means they eat into other people's time. As others wait patiently, I drum my fingers on the desk and feel annoyed inside.

Headroom

Watch out for Headroom programmes on BBC TV and radio including 'Losing It' starring Griff Rhys Jones (BBC 2, 23. 30 Sept).

BBC Radio Nottingham will also be exploring mental health across the week (22 -26 Sept) during their programming.

Beeston Library will be the venue for an art-based project using sculpture, creative language and poetry to explore thoughts and feelings.
