Karen Tite is originally from Newcastle but says Scarborough is her adopted home town. She's an actor with the Valley Theatre Company and is a self-declared "protégé of Graham Rhodes". Graham wrote the character Karen adopts for her stand up routine, Blodwyn Pygg, whose act, in turn, is "an holistic experience, rather than a poetry recital". |
