Don Kirby was one of the acts at BBC Radio York's Comic Relief 2007 event, More Front Than Scarborough. Given that he's only ever done after-dinner speaking in the past, we thought he did really well! Click on the video link and see for yourself.

73 year old Don is from Scarborough, and is a retired police inspector. It was during his career as a police inspector that people started asking him to do after-dinner speaking. He continues to do so, at both Whitby Rugby Club and Scarborough & Northcliffe Golf Club.
