I’m Helen and I am about to embark upon my second year as an undergraduate studying Linguistics with English Literature. It astounds me that soon I will start my second year. It doesn’t seem all that long ago that I was eagerly observing the freshers on Hollyoaks, pouring over the James College website and musing over whether taking 15 pairs of shoes would be too much! It tickles me looking back to last summer and how I envisaged Uni, it has just been so completely different to how I thought it would be. As well as doing student stuff and reading muchos libros I am learning Spanish, I also love dancing (this is starting to feel like one of those dating adverts). I have a GSOH (no, really) and like making people laugh even if it is just by pretending to be a mermaid on the kitchen floor. Helen Nuttall |
