In Week One the class of Twelve year olds debated things that affect them on a daily basis. They discussed extremism, the environment, healthy eating and, surprisingly, buses!

In the following Citizenship class they were given the chance to write their own news bulletins. Adam and Andrew showed them examples of news bulletins written at BBC Radio York and explained a little about the format of writing a news bulletin. Then, in a news studio put together in the classroom, the groups were divided into news readers and reporters. Each group then conducted its own bulletin. |
