If you're a fan of greasepaint and show tunes then this is the opportunity for you. FADLOS are looking for two male actors to step into the breech and help with their production of Annie, due to take place in May. The rest of the cast began rehearsals in December 2008 but it's a hard-knock life in the world of musical theatre and they are short of two actors to play vital male roles. "We have searched high and low, called all the men we can think of, and as time is marching on, we are now appealing for your help," said Jackie Overton, producer of the show. One of the roles up for grabs is Bert Healy, the wacky radio presenter who helps with Annie's search for her parents by broadcasting her plight. "He's a lovely, smooth-talking character," said Jackie. You'll even get the chance to test out your singing skills as Bert performs the classic You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile. The second role is that of straight-laced White House cabinet member Henry Morganthau. It's a smaller part, but remains vital to the show. If you'd like to take part call Jackie on 01263 821665.Annie runs from Tuesday, 12 May to Saturday, 16 May, 2009.FADLOS rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Fakenham Community Centre.last updated: 10/03/2009 at 11:19 SEE ALSOYou are in: Norfolk > Entertainment > Arts, Film & Culture > Theatre & Dance > Annie casting call Listings Providers
