A black hole spins in a far blacker sky, Evoking long songs of sad reality and Wanton dreams. Nearby, a solitary moon whirls among some lightened clouds; Cannoning memories of sad joy with eternal despair. Somewhere, another moon pulls a vast sea to a sodden shore. A heavy tide splaying sharp shingle and broken shell. Fragments of human hopelessness. They rasp and choke on the polluted land. "I love him, love him, love him." I cry, unheard to the universal sky, Alight with floating flying stars. An apparent void that embraces asteroid and planet alike. White dwarf gasses and the beginning of time To an unimaginable edge. They spin and drift to the rhythm of time, Oblivious to the sorrow That is me and this tiny planet, Earth. |
