Slimbridge
- bird watching. Visitor centre. Swan feeding at 4pm daily. Extensive events programme.
Walkways around the reserve. Wild area with hides. Observatory tower - heated
hide with good views across the reserve. Also look for the Bewick
Swans and wild birds on the fields around the reserve during daylight hours. Telling
the many birds apart, especially the ducks, can be tricky but most WWT hides have
identification boards - so if you're not sure what you are looking at a quick
glance behind you at the pictures should help.
