visitors are allowed to park directly outside the Hall when they visit. There
are also disabled parking bays close to the Bygones Museum, Pottery Shop and Stables
Cafe. Hall - main entrance via metal ramp. Access to first floor State Rooms
by stair lift. Full disabled access in rest of Hall. Acoustiguide and Braille
guides. |
| Location: | Holkham
National Nature Reserve extends from Burnham Norton to Blakeney, covering about
4,000 hectares. The reserve is three miles west of Wells-next-the-Sea on the A149.
Three car parks linked by the Norfolk Coast Path. |
| Getting
there: | The Norfolk Coasthopper bus service
runs from King's Lynn and Hunstanton to Sheringham and makes two stops at Holkham.

to vehicles at weekends from November to April except Easter. House
- open 1 June to 30 September (except August Bank Holiday) daily except Tuesdays
and Wednesdays between 1pm to 5pm. August Bank Holiday - 26, 27 & 28 August
- open 12 noon to 5pm. |
