Out on Monday 17 July, the EP sees four new tracks from the band; the titular track which sparks and furies in exactly the way the name suggests, the New Order-y punked up I Want Out, the sparklingly toe-tapping It’s Bad & It’s Just Begun, and a Kraftwerk-meets-Talking Heads piece of pop-robot dancing called Architecture & Police. If there’s any justice in the world, it’ll be the EP that sees them fulfil that potential that’s ached off the stage since they began. If there’s not, at least it’s a Short Sharp Shock to the head for everyone that hears it. |
