A Havering resident could be £82,178 richer than they think. Lottery representatives are looking for the winner of a March draw, and the lucky local has to claim the prize by the start of September. The winning lotto ticket was bought in Havering on March 8th 2008 and matched 5 numbers plus the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Saturday 8 March 2008. The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 4, 15, 18, 30, 31, 47 and the bonus ball was 9. A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a difference to somebody’s life. We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding. “Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.” To jog Lotto players’ memories, on Saturday 8 March 2008, Vantage Point starring Dennis Quaid, was showing at cinemas across the country, Duffy topped the singles chart with Mercy, while Amy Winehouse was at the top of the album chart with Back to Black. The ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Thursday 4th September 2008 to come forward to make their claim. If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before that deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the UK Good Causes Fund. last updated: 18/06/2008 at 16:55 SEE ALSOYou are in: London > London Local > Havering > Work and Money > Could you be the lucky lotto winner? |
