Flying high at the Battle of Britain Air Show

Biggin Hill's playing host to the Battle of Britain Air Show on September 18th and 19th. Visitors to each day will be treated to six hours of flying displays.

Travel:	bus: Regular shuttle buses from Bromley South station to Biggin Hill. train: Trains from London Victoria to Bromley South (19 minutes).

The displays will feature a range of modern and wartime aircraft, and there will also be more than a hundred other types on the ground.

The famous names include RAF 'jump-jet' Harrier, RAF Tornado, RAF Hawk, the Sopwith Camel, and the Red Arrows celebrating their 40th season in their nine Hawk aircraft.

Back on the ground, you can visit a 1940s village featuring a tribute to Dad's Army, as well as a wartime band, vintage cars and the Shepherd Neame Spitfire Ale tent.
