For the past few years Jersey Boy, and top comedian Will Smith has been tirelessly campaigning for the release of Bergerac on DVD, until now he didn't actually think it would happen. In a stroke of amazing coincidence BBC Radio Jersey's John Uphoff show managed to arrange for Will Smith to talk about his tour (and it coming to Jersey) on the same day that BBC Worldwide officially announced the release date for the release of Bergerac series one on DVD. In the interview John talks to Will about various aspects of campaigning for the Bergerac release, writing for the Thick of It, his tour and a few interesting confessions on both sides of the mic. Hear John confess to having taped every episode of Bergerac of UKTV Gold and hear Will as he tells a tale of chasing his flatmate around with a sign demanding the release of Bergerac (pretending his flatmate is a BBC Executive of course).
