Stoppers from the Canopic Chest
The Canopic Chest for Tutankhamun's internal organs was made of a large block of delicately veined and translucent calcite, with four compartments, each sealed by a stopper carved to represent the king. Each compartment contained a miniature coffin holding the organs.
Tutankhamun is shown wearing the Nemes head-dress and with the protective cobra and vulture on his brow.
