Alfie Potter then put the Hawks in front for a second time to the delight of the 6,000 travelling fans. A Yossi Benayoun hat trick consigned the Hawk's to defeat. But there was no shame in defeat for the Hawks - they received rapturous applause from the Kop and plaudits from around the football world for such a battling performance.
