Sophie Foxen, from Woodchester in Gloucestershire, loves the Air Cadets and sees it as a major part of her life.

She admits she was nervous and scared when she first joined but it's done her confidence a world of good.

During her time in the ATC she's met an amazing array of people who've become firm friends. She's also experienced flying and camping outdoors.

She believes the Air Cadets has given her the confidence to pursue her career goals and to be who she wants to be.
