Jet Li's career steps up a gear with the relentless "Cradle 2 the Grave", which as Joel Silver reckons on the DVD, contains the holy grail of action scenes.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Picture Sharp and slick, this transfer is everything you'd expect from a Joel Silver picture.

Sound The 5.1 sound mix is a bass delight of rap tunes and brutal fight effects, all vying to drive your subwoofer into the floor.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Ultimate Fighting Championships We all knew that Jet Li wasn't the tallest chap on earth, but if this featurette does one thing, it's to show just how microscopic he is compared to the burly brawlers he has to fight. There's plenty of behind the scenes footage on the cage scene, along with a short interview with Li where he tries to explain how Joel just keeps ramping up the madness of the fight sequences.

Choreography of the Camera In this featurette, Joel Silver tells us how he has come up with this wonderful idea of filling action scenes with lots of cameras to get maximum coverage. Of course he fails to mention that this has been standard procedure in the Hong Kong film industry for decades.

The Descender Rig Joel Silver is back on manic form, asking us the question: "What haven't we seen before?" Poor man must have been worrying himself sick over it but, as you'll see in this featurette, he's come up with something new. Phew!

Additional Extra Features Also on the DVD is a music video, trailer, cast and crew list, plus DVD ROM weblinks.
