The latest Jerry Bruckheimer action thriller features such a strange pairing of actors, no one seems entirely sure what type of film this is, as you'll find out on the DVD.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Picture A smoky blue saturated picture forms the artistic veneer of this movie, and is transferred to this technically excellent disc with cold clarity.
Sound The luxury of both Dolby and DTS sound mixes are on-hand to terrorise your amp. And as you might expect, they're both bass-laced to the hilt.
SPECIAL FEATURES
An Inside Look This 12-minute featurette is the only special feature on the DVD, but it's not short on entertaining quotes...
Joel Schumacher sets an authoritative mood by declaring that, "I think you can call it an action film." Jerry Bruckheimer seems to think the movie's more of a comedy, passing on this wise tip to all you filmmakers out there: "You know, funny's money."
Chris Rock has it sussed, though, asking, "You read the script? It's something to do with a bomb."
Additional Extra Features Also on the DVD is a trailer gallery.
