SPECIAL FEATURES
Audio Commentary Just in case you're lusting after the blonde in the opening credits, that's not Reese Witherspoon but a stand-in! This and many other facts are revealed in a film that was technically harder to make than you might imagine, due to the 57 costume changes and numerous hairstyles. Reese talks us through them, with the added quips of producer Marc Platt and director Robert Luketic in a light-hearted and often enjoyable commentary.
Deleted Scenes Eight scenes for you to flick through, including some comedy moments that didn't make it into the film. Luketic introduces them all and explains why they were cut.
"The Hair that Ate Hollywood" If only more DVD featurettes could be as tightly produced and entertaining as this one. Find out just how hard it was to pin down the correct 'blonde' colour needed for the movie, and just how many hairstyles Reese does in fact sport in the movie. The interviewees are witty and the pace of this featurette is fast, sticking only to what's interesting.
Twin Track If any of you have ever watched Pop-up Video on VH-1, then you'll be right at home with this subtitle option that relays a constant stream of facts during the movie. Most relate to the film, but various amusing statistics also pop up in a feature that's hard to turn off, because it's really well matched to the mood of the film.
