Seagal scored a partial return to previous box office form with "Exit Wounds", a film that will doubtless do rather nicely on this technically excellent DVD.
The picture quality is every bit as good as it can be. Slick and free of distortion, this is a lovely image that doesn't miss a single crag on Seagal's face.
There's a load of rap tunes in the movie, and each one certainly doesn't lack bass response, thanks to a busy 5.1 sound mix.
The extra features are uninspired, with the 'making of' featurette particularly boring. Seagal looks criminally disinterested in his interview clips and he's unlikely to win any fans with his attitude.
There is a little fun to be had from an eight-minute video that shows a day in the life of co-star Anthony Anderson. His first comments are hardly exciting, "This is what I do early in the morning - I get up", but as the day wears on he finds his humour. He's certainly a lot warmer than Seagal.
