The delightfully amusing "Scrooged" makes it onto a DVD that's a little tight-fisted too.

Importantly, the movie has been transferred with good picture quality throughout. The warm Christmas colours look a treat and there's little to complain about.

The 5.1 mix is also adequate if rather sedate. Danny Elfman's score works nicely and the odd Foley effect utilises the rear speakers when needed.

For a DVD that bears the title "Scrooged", it certainly lives up to the name in terms of features. A trailer is the only extra you'll find on the disc but if you like the film then it's worth getting at least to enjoy the transfer quality.
