Purfleet's long association with the river and the fish that live in it are being brought together for a unique art project in the town. Artist Jane Wilbraham has designed a giant fish that will parade along the High Street as part of the inaugural Purfleet One Float Carnival. Joining the float will be children from Purfleet Primary School who have been designing fish and fly masks. It is all happening on Saturday, 24, March and BBC reporter Andy Gordon has been to the school see how preparations for the carnival are going. |
